==Същност==&lt;br /&gt;
Флуид е опростен модел на абсолютно несвиваем и [[невискозен флуид]]. Ако един флуид се движи, всяка точка от пространството, която е заета от него, се характеризира със скорост на частицата, която в даден момент преминава през нея. Съвкупоността от всички такива скорости на частиците се нарича поле на вектора на скоростта. Когато полето на скоростта не се изменя , движението, което извършва флуидът се нарича стационарно. Законът на Бернули гласи следното:&lt;br /&gt;

Ако се съберат енергиите на единица обем ( гравитационна и [[кинетична енергия|кинетична]]) с налягането (p) на даден флуид, то сборът ще е един и същи като стойност във всички точки на една токова линия. &lt;br /&gt;

където ''p ''е статичното налягане, pv/2 – [[динамично налягане]] (кинетичната енергия в единица обем) , pgh – [[хидростатично налягане]] (гравитационната [[потенциална енергия]] в единица обем). Изразът е получен за пръв път през 1738 г. от Даниел Бернули (1700-1782) и е публикуван в труда му &amp;quot;Хидродинамика&amp;quot;. Той се нарича уравнение на Бернули. Уравнението на Бернули е следствие от закона за запазване на енергията.&lt;br /&gt;

Нека една токова тръба има две различни сечения: широка част и стеснена част. От закона на Бернули и от уравнението за [[непрекъснатост]], което гласи, че произведението на скоростта на частиците в дадено сечение и площта на това сечение остава постоянна, може да се направи извода: на местата, където токовата тръба се стеснява, скоростта на струята нараства, а там където се разширява тръбата, [[флуид]]ът се движи с по-малка скорост. От тук следва, че където скоростта е по-голяма, налягането ще бъде по-малко и обратно, където [[скорост]]та е по-малка, налягането ще бъде по-голямо. &lt;br /&gt;

Законът на Бернули и изводите от него са много използвани днес в действието на [[карборатор]]ите,измерване на скорост,също разхода на вода при някои видове водомери,изтичане на течности от резервоари, и др.&lt;br /&gt;
